Thank you for using Seller Portal and for your continued interest.

In line with the strengthened mobile game licensing regulations of Vietnam's Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and changes in the local service policy, Galaxy Store will be terminating all game category app services in Vietnam.

Accordingly, starting September 30, 2026, new game registration and updates targeting Vietnam will be restricted.

Starting November 11, 2026, game distribution within Vietnam will be suspended.

Partners currently distributing games in Vietnam are requested to complete the service termination process below.

■ Process for Sellers

1. September 30, 2026 (Wed): Blocked Payments and Submissions

In-App Purchase (IAP): All in-app purchases for Vietnam users will be blocked and the automatic (recurring) renewals for subscriptions will be disabled. Existing users' remaining subscriptions will be maintained, but the next billing cycle will be canceled.

Seller Portal distribution: When registering a new app or updating an existing app in Seller Portal, [Game category] apps cannot be submitted with [Vietnam] selected in the distribution country settings.

2. November 11, 2026 (Wed): Suspension of Distribution in Vietnam

The 'Game' tab will be removed from the Vietnam Galaxy Store, and related promotions and merchandising activities will be discontinued.

All game apps distributed in Vietnam will be suspended, making downloads, updates, and re-downloads unavailable.

For games targeting Vietnam, we ask that you notify your users and end game services following the above schedule in order to inform your paying customers to the upcoming changes and minimize refund-related VoC.

Q1. After September 30, can game app updates for users in countries other than Vietnam still be submitted normally?

A. Yes, they can. Starting September 30, selecting 'Vietnam' in the Seller Portal distribution country settings will be blocked. Please exclude Vietnam and select only the other distribution target countries before submitting updates so that review and distribution can proceed normally.

Q2. My game has many paying users in Vietnam. Will settlement amounts be deducted for user refunds arising from Galaxy Store's forced payment block and distribution suspension?

A. This measure is a mandatory administrative action to comply with local laws. Settlement for normal payments made before September 30 will proceed in accordance with the existing contract. However, individual refund requests and VoC raised by users after the service termination must be handled according to each publisher's (developer's) terms. If forced refunds occur through Galaxy Store, the corresponding amounts may be offset against your settlement.

Q3. We are developers who have obtained an ABEI/MIC game license through a local joint venture in Vietnam. Can our game be maintained in the Vietnam Galaxy Store as an exception?

A. No. Regardless of whether or not an individual game holds a license, this service termination fully closes the 'Game' category tab in the Vietnam Galaxy Store. Therefore, no game is eligible for an exception for distribution.
