Starting July 1, 2026, the Galaxy Store will support 16KB page size for Android apps. 

Google Play has announced that, as of November 1, 2025, it will enforce a 16KB page size compatibility requirement for all

new apps and updates to existing apps that support devices running Android 15 or higher. The Galaxy Store has decided to

support the 16KB page size to help improve app performance, including runtime and power consumption.

■ Application Schedule : Starting July 1, 2026

■ Applicable Targets : All new and updated Android apps submitted

■ Applicable Details : Mandatory support for 16KB page size for apps supporting Android 15 or higher

■ Exceptions : The following apps are exempt:

   - Android apps distributed only in mainland China

   - Theme, single theme product(Wallpaper, AOD, Icon), sticker, watch app, watchface, and Instant Play 1.0 game

Q1. Will this requirement be retroactively applied to existing apps? 

A1. Starting July 1, 2026, all Android apps submitted through Seller Portal will be subject to this requirement.

Please ensure your app updates meet these requirements.

Q2. What should I do if my Android app is distributed in multiple countries, including China? 

A2. If your app is distributed in China and additional countries, you must support the 16KB page size.
