Hello, We want to inform you about an improvement to the Galaxy Store Statistics (GSS) Open API. The GSS Open API provides statistics about your registered apps in Seller Portal—such as sales, revenue, and ratings—to help you to make more effective business decisions. You can use your own UI to view the data that interests you. And, if your app is sold in more than one app store, you can create a single page to view and compare data. The GSS Open API no longer requires you to get cookie information from Seller Portal. Instead, it uses certification through the Galaxy Store Developer API. If you are using the GSS Open API, the following updates are required: 1. When using the GSS Metric API sellerMetric request, the “sellerId” attribute and value (shown in the red box below) are no longer needed. You must remove this attribute and value. 2. When using the GSS Metric API sellerMetric or contentMetric requests, the cookie attributes and values (shown in the red box below) are no longer needed. You must remove these attributes and values from the authorization header. 3. The GSS User API, used to obtain the “sellerId,” has been removed. You must remove the loginUserProfile request (shown in the red box below). If you have any questions, please select Seller Portal > Help > Contact us for inquiries. Thank you, Galaxy Store Seller Portal Team Seller FAQs Q: What actions should the seller take? A: When you use the GSS Metric API, the “sellerId” and cookie attributes do not need to be delivered and should be removed. Also, the GSS User API is no longer used and can be removed. Q: Would it cause problems to continue including the “sellerId” and cookie attributes in the API calls? A: Currently, it will not cause a problem. However, future updates may cause your access to be blocked if you continue to include these attributes. |
