We would like to inform you that the brand name input policy for Gear apps registration has been revised as below.

This revision was prompted by the need to utilize brand information of Gear apps better in Galaxy Apps and thus we

would appreciate your understanding. Please refer to the following when using our service.

1. Major Changes

1) Each seller will be allowed to set only one brand name.

□ Before: Sellers were able to go to [Add New Application] > [App Information], select Advanced Mode, and enter

a “Brand Name” for each app.

- Different brand names could be entered for each app.

□ After: Sellers need to enter a “Brand Name” in [Profile] > [Gear App Brand Information].

- Each seller can enter only one brand name.

※ Information provided by sellers who have entered multiple brand names will be all changed to the primary brand

name (i.e., the name registered for the most number of apps) some time during October. Therefore, if you want

a different brand name, please update the brand name information for each app in advance.

2) Items of brand-related information will be more diversified and utilized in Galaxy Apps in the future.

□ Before: Displayed the brand name only.

□ After: Displays a Brand Page which contains the brand name, brand logo, brand background image, and brand

description.

- Length limit for brand name: 60 bytes

- Brand logo size: 512×512 pixels in PNG format (1024 KB or smaller)

- Brand background image size: 1024×500 pixels in JPG/PNG format

- Length limit for brand description: 114 bytes

2. Effective Date

- August 30, 2017
