This is the guide line for the personal information protection of the mobile phone applications published by Korea Communications Commission. Please take note of the following.

1. Subject of the guide line: All sellers who sell applications to korean market.

2. Check points for the app development

 1) Make sure to request and use permissions within a range of the app operation

 2) State the followings on Privacy Policy and fulfill them.

   - State that the app will access to the device information within the limitation of Privacy Policy.

   -Collect and use the information after user agrees to the content of Privacy Policy.

3. Check points for the app registration

 1) Check if you follow [2.Check points for the app development].

 2) “A list of permissions the app needs and the reason for asking them” should be described in the “Application Description”

 3) Check if you follow the regulation of collection/storage/use/disclosure/discard of personal information.

4. Check points for app service providing/suspension

 1) Make sure that users easy to see “Service Terms and Condition”, “Personal information collect and use agreement” and agree them with one-click.

 2) Display the feature to secede on the first screen of the app for user`s convenience. And the main number should be described on “Privacy Policy”.
