As of February 14th, 2013, some features of the service will be suspended because of restrictions on the use of resident registration numbers. This is in compliance with the new regulation instructing that additional methods of personal verification other than resident registration numbers should be available, according to the revision to Article 23-2 (Restrictions on the use of resident registration numbers) of the Act on the Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.

Because of this, some features of the current service may be suspended as the payment company has been changed and a new SDK has been developed for distribution.
 

The details are as follows.

■ Android IAP(In-App Purchase)
 

As the payment method of Samsung Apps for Android OS has been changed, In-App Purchase is no longer supported for applications with an old version of the SDK (under 1.90.0).

If you are a Seller, please use a new SDK to update your applications.
 

- Expected launch date of the new SDK : February 15th, 2013 (The schedule may change subject to any unforeseen circumstances.)
 

  * The new SDK version is 1.95.0 and can be downloaded from the Samsung Developers site at http://developer.samsung.com.

■ bada Paid application and IAP(In-App Purchase) service

The Paid service and IAP service will be suspended until further improvements to the payment method for bada OS have been completed.
 

Therefore, the registration and distribution of bada Paid and IAP applications will be restricted in South Korea.
 

The expected start date for service suspension is February 14, 2013 and we will notify you when the service resumes.
