Hello! This is the Galaxy Store Seller Portal team.

Thank you for using Seller Portal and for your continued interest.

Starting in September 2026, Google plans to make developer verification mandatory for all developers distributing Android apps in Brazil, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. Accordingly, we are advising developers who are currently distributing or planning to distribute Android apps in these countries, to complete developer verification according to Google's instructions before September.

■ Android Developer Verification

■ Applicable Targets : All Android app developers who are currently distributing or planning to distribute apps in one or more of the following countries: Brazil, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.

■ Application Schedule : September, 2026

■ Scope of Impact : The installation of all Android apps from developers who have not completed developer verification at the time of Google's policy implementation is blocked.

■ Exceptions : The following apps are exempt:

- Apps distributed only in mainland China

- Stickers, emojis, watch apps, watch faces, Instant Play 1.0/2.0

This policy applies to the installation of all Android-based apps, including apps distributed in Galaxy Store.

Note: Starting in 2027, developer verification is scheduled to expand globally. We recommend all Android app developers complete verification by the end of 2026.

Consent to Collection and Use of Personal Information for Marketing (Optional)

1. Collected items: Samsung account ID and Samsung account information (name, email address, etc.)
2. Purpose of collection: To provide marketing communications, including information on new features, service updates, and benefits related to the Galaxy Store Seller Portal
3. Retention Period: In principle, the Company shall destroy the applicable personal information without delay after the purposes for which the information was collected and used have been achieved.
If it is necessary to preserve personal information in accordance with the regulations of relevant laws, the Company shall retain the personal information for a certain period of time specified by relevant laws as follows. In such cases, the Company shall transfer the personal information to a separate database (DB) or store it at a different storage location.
