To protect users' personal information and provide a safer and more reliable service, Galaxy Store has introduced a new 'Data Safety’ section. This section allows users to clearly see the data collected and shared by an app before installation.

The 'Data Safety’ section will be mandatory starting September 2025. If this section is not submitted, new app registrations and app updates may be restricted. To ensure smooth app registration, please review the details below and accurately submit the data safety information.

■ Registration Path

Seller Portal > Add New App or Update > Left Side 'Data Safety’ Tab (Refer to the image below)

■ Applicable to: Android app / Watch app (excluding Beta test/Pre-registration app)

■ Important Notes

1. The information submitted by sellers will be displayed on the Galaxy Store app details page.
    (This will be shown to users after the Galaxy Store app update at the end of June.)
2. Sellers are responsible for providing accurate data safety information. If Galaxy Store discovers any discrepancies 

   between the app's actual operation and the submitted content, corrective actions may be taken.
