Hello, this is the Galaxy Store Seller Portal team. Thank you for using Seller Portal and for your continued interest. In a press release for Samsung Galaxy Store on March 13, 2025, it was announced that Samsung is updating its revenue share to 80/20, increasing the share for developers and publishers.
Beginning on May 15, 2025(GMT+0), developers and publishers of paid games, apps, and consumable and non-consumable in-app items will start to receive 80% of the sales proceeds they generate through Galaxy Store, while Samsung retains 20%. For subscriptions, the revenue share will be changed to 85/15.
No action is required by developers and publishers. We will automatically update the revenue share terms on May 15th (GMT+0).

Q2: Will purchases made today in Galaxy Store be affected? A2: Purchases made in Galaxy Store through May 15, 2025(GMT+0), will continue at the 70/30 revenue share. Q3: I have a custom agreement with Samsung. Will this change affect the agreement? A3: No, if you have a custom agreement you will not be impacted. If you are interested in moving to the new rev share terms please contact your Samsung account manager Q4: What apps are affected by the new revenue share model? A4: All paid apps, including games, as well as consumable and non-consumable in-app items are a part of the new 80/20 revenue share model. Subscriptions will have a higher revenue share model of 85/15 applied to them.
Q5: What do I need to do to receive my increased revenue share? A5: If you have a standard agreement then no action is necessary. We we will automatically update your rev share to the new terms on May 15, 2025 (GMT+0). If you have a custom agreement, you will not be impacted by this change.
