Hello, this is the Galaxy Store Seller Portal team.

Galaxy Store is now supporting both Android app binary (AAB or .aab) files and Android package (APK or .apk) files.

1. When registering a new app with an AAB file, you can use the signing key provided by Galaxy Store.

- You can create and save your own key in the Galaxy Store signing key management system without having to extract and upload the signing key 

through a separate tool.

- The Galaxy Store signing key management system runs on its own infrastructure.

2. You can update existing APK files to AAB  files.

- Please upload the signing key used by the AAB file of the existing app to Seller Portal.

- After you upload the signing key, you can also use it to register / update new or existing applications.

1. If I add or update an app with an AAB file, can I update it with an APK file?

- An application that uses an AAB file cannot be updated with an APK file.

2. Does the AAB file for Seller Portal support the Asset Delivery and Feature Delivery functions from  Play Store?

- No, these features are not supported. Sellers can submit AAB files to Seller Portal and users will download the univeral APK file for the app.

3. Can different signing keys be applied to multiple binaries in a single app?

- If you register multiple binary files in one app, all binaries in the app must use the same signing key.
