Dear Seller,

Thank you for using Galaxy Apps Seller Office.

We hereby notify you of Article 22-2 of the revised Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network

Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (hereinafter AICN) which shall become effective on March 23, 2017.

Please familiarize yourself with the following and comply with the requirements for Sellers to avoid unfavorable

consequences.

■ Summary of the revised AICN in the Republic of Korea

1. Effective date

- March 23, 2017 (Thu)

2. Affected apps

- Apps newly released and/or updated after March 23, 2017 and serviced in the Republic of Korea

3. Requirements you must comply with

- Distinguish between Required access permissions and Optional access permissions. When editing or registering an

application in a Seller Office, help users understand the reasons for the permission requests by describing them in

detail in the 'Description' field, as shown in the example below. [Go to Article 22-2 of the AICN in Republic of Korea.]

[Scope of access permissions granted by users]

Information

Data stored on the device by the user, including data in contacts, calendar, images, munication details,

and biometrics.

Data stored automatically while using the device including: location, communication history,

authentication, and physical activity.

Unique information provided to identify devices, such as the unique identifier (IMEI), in accordance with

Article 60-2, Paragraph 1 of the Telecommunications Business Act in Korea.

Features

Input and output features, including camera recording, voice recognition, biometrics, and body sensors.

- Devices: This term generally refers to smartphones, but tablets and smart devices are also included.

- Apps that don't use device communication are excluded from the scope (e.g., Clock, Smartphone Search, Music

Player, and Samsung Themes apps).

- Location: To find a connectable nearby device and connect your Gear via Bluetooth.
