Please follow the instructions below to register Gear applications developed with the Tizen 2.3.2 platform.

■ Any applications that offer features only supported by the Tizen 2.3.2 platform (e.g., In-App Purchase and Web widget) must have the platform version specified as 2.3.2 when they are registered. Please refer to below to see what the new features are.

  < Note 1 > Description of the versions of Tizen platform (Specify a minimum required version)

            1)  Web Application : required_version=”2.3.2” in config.xml

            2)  Native Application : api-version=”2.3.2” in tizen-manifest.xml

               * In-App Purchase and Remote Appcontrol are the new features supported by Tizen versions 2.3.2 and above.

■ Please refer to the following, as the Gear S2, based on the Tizen 2.3.1 platform, is expected to be updated to version 2.3.2 :

1. Applications that were previously developed with the Tizen 2.3.1 platform and are currently in service :

   1)  If your application does not include the new features supported by the Tizen 2.3.2 platform,

        it will be provided to Gear S2 and S3 users as usual without requiring further action.

   2)  If you want to release a new version of your application that includes the features only supported by the Tizen 2.3.2 platform, 

     -  You must maintain the existing binaries for the existing Gear S2 users who are still using the Tizen 2.3.1 platform.

     -  You will need to register additional binaries with the new features of the Tizen 2.3.2 platform applied.

        These binaries will be provided to users of the Tizen 2.3.2 platform-based Gear S3 and Gear S2, which will be updated at a later date.

2. Applications need to be registered :

  -  If your application does not include the new features supported by the Tizen 2.3.2 platform,

     you should register it by specifying the platform version as 2.3.1, in order to provide it to both the existing Gear S2 users and Gear S3 users.

  -  If your application includes the new features supported by the Tizen 2.3.2 platform,

     you should register it by specifying the platform version as 2.3.2. In this case, the new features will only be provided to users of the Tizen 2.3.2

     platform-based Gear S3 and Gear S2, not the Tizen 2.3.1 platform-based Gear S2 users.
