We would like to inform you of the new registration process for Gear Watch face applications that will take effect on January 29th.

■ Effective from

   - 29/1/2016

■ Major changes

   ① New criteria will be added for determining which apps are eligible as Gear Watch face applications.

   If multiple binaries are registered for an application, all of them need to support the Watch face in order for the application to be regarded as a Watch face application.

   ② If multiple binaries are registered for an application, every one of them needs to support the Watch face.

   ③ For Gear Watch face applications, you can only select the ‘Gear > Watch faces’ category.

■ Note

   After the update of January 29th, the categories and status of your applications may be changed if the following conditions apply. Please check beforehand and make sure that the following conditions do not apply to your registered applications.

   ① It is a Gear Watch face application, but the 'Watch faces’ category is not selected.

   ② It is not a Gear Watch face application, but the 'Watch faces’ category is selected.

   ③ Multiple binaries are registered, but only some of them support the Watch face.
