The Revised Value Added Tax Act in the Republic of Korea shall be in effect as of July 1, 2012, so when you sell your applications and items in stores in the Republic of Korea, there might be a change in the amount of your profit.
Due to changes in the Value Added Tax Act, the seller must declare and pay the value-added tax him/herself on the content that he/she sells in stores (open markets) in the Republic of Korea, except in the case of non-Korean sellers for whom SAMSUNG Galaxy Apps will declare and pay the value-added tax.
The Value Added Tax will first be imposed on contents sold this month (May, 2015); for contents sold prior to this month, a discussion is underway with the National Tax Service in South Korea concerning the tax levy.

① If a person who falls under any of the subparagraphs of Article 52 (1) supplies services domestically through a commission agent or an associate commission agent designated by Presidential Decree, or a proxy, the commission agent, the associate commission agent, or the proxy will be deemed to have supplied the services. |
